Why is my transaction taking so long to process?

Ugh, seriously, why is this transaction taking forever? I'm starting to get a little twitchy here. It's like watching paint dry, only with money...and my patience wearing thin. You know that feeling, right?

I guess it probably has something to do with that "network congestion" thing. I've heard about that. It's like when everyone's trying to cram onto the highway at the same time – total gridlock. Makes sense, I suppose, especially since it's, like, right before Christmas. Everyone's buying gifts, right? So the payment systems are probably jammed. Remember that time I tried to buy concert tickets online, and the site completely crashed? Yeah, this feels kinda like that. Except I actually want to give someone my money this time!

So, basically, it's just a whole bunch of transactions trying to squeeze through at once. Kinda like trying to fit a whole herd of elephants through a garden hose. It's bound to slow things down. Hopefully, it won't take too much longer. I really want that confirmation email! How long is too long anyway? Is it weird I'm already checking my bank account again?
