Can I add a business card to my iPhone wallet?

Ugh, I was hoping to just easily add my new business cards to my iPhone wallet! So disappointing. Can you believe it? I mean, it seems so obvious, right? Like, why isn't there a simple "add business card" option? It's 2024, after all!

Turns out, no, you can't just plop a physical business card into Apple Wallet. It's mostly for credit cards, loyalty points, and movie tickets – the stuff you need to tap and go. Which is great, don't get me wrong, but it's also a little frustrating in this case. Remember that time I met that amazing architect at the networking event? I totally fumbled my business card, it went flying… ended up under a table! So embarrassing.

But hey, there’s a workaround! I found out about these digital business card apps – I think I saw one called Social Card, or something similar. They let you create a digital version of your card, and then you can share it through a link, or even directly to Apple Wallet, Apple Pay, etc. It's basically a modern, less-clumsy version of the whole business card thing. Seriously, it's a game changer, especially after my spilled business card incident. Definitely worth checking out if you, like me, are tired of losing paper cards.
