Can I add a passcode to Apple Wallet?

Ugh, its so frustrating when you cant add a card to Apple Wallet! It probably means you havent set up a passcode or Face/Touch ID on your iPhone. It makes sense from a security standpoint, but its still annoying. Just go to Settings and set one up – it’s a small price to pay for the convenience of Apple Pay. I was annoyed at first, but now I appreciate the extra layer of security.

Can I add a passcode to Apple Wallet? Ugh, right? It’s SO frustrating when you can’t add a card, isn’t it? I remember the first time it happened to me – I was trying to add my new credit card at the grocery store, of all places, and it just wouldn’t work! I felt like such a doofus standing there, fumbling with my phone.

Turns out, I hadn’t set up a passcode or Face ID. I mean, I knew I should have, but you know how it is… you put it off, right? It probably means you haven’t either. It’s a total pain, but honestly? It makes perfect sense from a security perspective. I mean, think about it – your credit card info is right there!

They need some kind of extra layer of protection, you know? It’s a small price to pay for the convenience of Apple Pay; you have to admit that. I was pretty annoyed at first, grumbling about it the whole way home. But then, a couple weeks later, I was relieved I had it. I’d had my phone almost stolen once, near the beach. The thought of someone getting access to all my cards… scary!

So yeah, go to Settings and set up a passcode or Face ID. It’s super easy, takes like two minutes, and it’ll save you a ton of headache (and potential identity theft!). Trust me on this one. Seriously. It’s worth it.
