Can I check-in 20 minutes before departure?
Check-in 20 minutes before flight? Is it possible?
Okay, so 20 minutes before your flight? Hmm, risky.
Most airlines usually slam the check-in door shut like, 30 mins before takeoff. This allows people to get a pass and then rush to the gate, going through security, you know?
Listen, one time - remember the 12th May '23 at Luton? - I arrived like, super late, maybe even 25 before take off, and they wouldn't let me thru. I paid £70 for the flight.
I had a flight which was 30 min flight time, and I was really worried if I could get on the plane.
Basically, getting there an hour early is usually safe.
30-minute cutoff seems pretty standard to ensure you get your ticket & make it through security on time.
If you rock up 30 mins before you take off, chances are high they might shut it down, and that's never good, is it?
