Can I use Apple Maps internationally?
Can I use Apple Maps internationally? You totally can! I've used it a bunch of times myself, actually. It works in, like, a ton of countries – I think I read somewhere it's over 56? Pretty impressive, right?
So, yeah, you get turn-by-turn directions, which is a lifesaver, believe me. I remember getting SO lost in Rome once... pre-Apple Maps days. Ugh. Nightmare. Anyway, now it even gives you real-time traffic, which is super helpful, although I'm not sure if that's everywhere. I know it worked for me in London last year, though, dodging that crazy rush hour traffic near Piccadilly Circus. What a mess that would've been without it!
Just a heads-up, though, some features might not be available in every single country. Like, I think the 3D view isn't everywhere yet? Something to keep in mind, but overall? Apple Maps internationally is a yes from me! It's really made navigating in unfamiliar places so much less stressful. Who wants to unfold a giant paper map these days anyway? Not this girl!
