Ugh, airport timing – such a headache. Last time, July 14th, Heathrow, I got there four hours early for my flight to Rome. Total waste of time.
Seriously, three hours is overkill for most domestic flights. Two is fine usually, unless it's peak season.
I ended up wandering around, spent a fortune on overpriced airport coffee to avoid boredom. Next time, I'm aiming for two hours max, domestic.
International is different; three hours is sensible, maybe more if it's a busy airport. My trip to Bangkok in February – that was a nightmare. Three hours barely cut it.
So yeah, too early is definitely a thing. It's not just boring; it can be expensive. Don't make my mistake!
