Can you reactivate a Visa card? Well, I've wondered that myself a few times! Yes, you often can. Seriously, it's more common than you might think. Most card issuers are actually pretty willing to reopen closed accounts, which is kind of surprising, right? And sometimes – get this – they won't even do a hard credit check! I mean, a hard pull can ding your score, so that's a definite plus.

What you really need to do is call the number on the back of your old card (if you still have it!). Or just go to their website and get their customer service number. Ask them straight out about reactivating. It might be as easy as flipping a switch on their end. They might make you fill out a new application, which can be a bit of a pain, I know. But hey, it's still better than applying for a brand new card, am I right?
