So, you’re wondering if you can get sneaky and use your Presto card twice for two people, huh? I get it, trying to save a buck! We’ve all been there. Remember that time I tried to sneak my little brother onto the bus using my student pass? Bus driver totally saw through me! Anyway…

No, sadly, you can’t. It doesn’t work that way. One tap, one person. Each person, you know, needs their own Presto card or whatever payment method they’re using. Credit card, debit card, even those fancy phone things work too, right? It’s just the rules, I guess. Kind of annoying, but hey, the transit system has to make money somehow. Think of all the buses they have to maintain! Plus, those poor drivers, they have a tough job.

It makes sense, when you think about it. How would they even keep track otherwise? It’d be total chaos, right? I mean, imagine the lines at the Presto machines, if everyone was trying to pull that off. The whole system would crash! So yeah, one tap, one person.
