For those just lightly scorched, you know, the kind where you kinda hope it’ll just wipe away… well, there’s an easy fix. I usually just fill the thing to the brim with the hottest water I can manage. Then, a squirt of dish soap – I’m partial to Dawn, because, nostalgia, I guess? – and let it sit for, like, an hour. Sometimes longer, if I’m busy and it slips my mind, which happens more often than I’d like to admit. The hot water and soap work together to loosen that stubborn stuff. It’s amazing how much easier it is to scrub after that soak. It’s almost like magic, but, you know, with soap.

Now, if we’re talking really burnt – the kind where you almost set off the smoke alarm and your significant other gives you that look – well, that needs a little more firepower.
