Do I have to manually fulfill orders on Shopify?

Ugh, Shopify order fulfillment – do I really have to do everything myself? That’s what I was wondering, right? Like, seriously, is there no escape from packing boxes at 2 AM? Turns out, no! There’s actually a really cool option in Shopify. I mean, I was so relieved when I found out. You don’t have to manually pack every single order, thank goodness. It’s a choice, a glorious, time-saving choice!

Shopify lets you pick between doing it yourself, which is what I did for the first few months – a total nightmare, by the way. Remember that time I accidentally shipped the wrong size to that poor guy ordering a birthday gift for his wife? Yeah, still cringe about that. Anyway, or you can automate the whole thing. It’s a setting you apply to all your fulfillment methods, so it’s a one-time decision, not something you have to worry about for each individual order. It basically tells Shopify whether you’re handling things yourself or if you’re using a third-party fulfillment center. So, yeah, no more 2 AM packing frenzies (at least, not as many!). That’s a lifesaver, honestly. I switched over, and honestly? It’s been a game-changer. I feel so much more organized and less stressed now!
