Do I need a boarding pass if I checked in online?

Ugh, boarding passes… Do I really need one if I checked in online? I always get so stressed about forgetting things, you know? Like that time I almost missed my flight to see my sister get married because I was so busy fussing with my suitcase I completely blanked on the boarding pass. Panic city!

Anyway, the short answer is yes. You absolutely, positively need a boarding pass, even if you’ve already done the online check-in thing. I learned that the hard way, let me tell you. They’re pretty strict about it these days. You can either print it out – old school, but reliable – or you can usually just show the digital version on your phone. Most airlines accept either, which is handy. But honestly, I always print mine out. Just less chance of my phone dying, my internet going out, or my clumsy self accidentally deleting the wrong thing. Yeah, I’ve had that happen. It’s just one less thing to worry about, right?
