Do I need to pay Bali tourist tax?

Okay, so, do I need to pay this Bali tourist tax? Ugh, it's honestly SUCH a pain that Bali has this thing now! I'm really crossing my fingers that I don't have to pay it.

From what I've read, it sounds like pretty much everyone needs to cough up the dough, or they'll be giving you the side-eye, or worse, at the airport. Can you imagine getting all the way there and then being turned away? Nightmare fuel!

Maybe, just maybe, my visa is one of those super-special, unicorn-rare ones that somehow gets me out of it? I mean, a girl can dream, right? I really should double-check the fine print... who knows, maybe I got lucky this time.

Honestly, avoiding that extra expense would be such a relief. Every little bit helps when you're traveling, you know? It's all those little costs that really start to add up, isn't it?
