*When 69 Does Hide Your Number**

In all other cases, *69 will hide your number from the other party. This includes calls to landlines, cell phones, and VoIP numbers.

*How to Block Your Number Without Using 69**

If you want to block your number without using *69, there are a few other options available to you.

• Use a caller ID blocking service. There are a number of services that allow you to block your number from being displayed on caller ID. These services typically charge a monthly fee.
• Use a burner phone. A burner phone is a prepaid phone that you can use to make calls without revealing your real number. Burner phones are available at most convenience stores and electronics stores.
• Use a call forwarding service. A call forwarding service allows you to forward your calls to another number. You can then use the other number to make calls without revealing your real number.
