Does a router have its own WiFi?

Does a router have its own WiFi? Ugh, I know, right?! Routers! It's like they speak a different language sometimes. But yeah, the router itself, that little boxy thing, is actually what's making that WiFi signal you're using right now. Crazy, huh?

It gets the internet from the modem – usually through that thick cable – and then, boom, it sends out its own signal like a little WiFi beacon. That's how your phone, your laptop, your smart fridge (if you have one of those fancy things, I'm jealous!)... basically everything connects.

I remember when I first set up my own internet. Talk about confusing! I had no idea what I was doing. I swear, I spent like an hour just trying to figure out which cable went where. But eventually, I got it working. It's kinda like the router's this little dispatcher, right? Taking the internet from out there in the world and sharing it with all your devices inside. Pretty cool when you think about it. Except, of course, when it stops working. Then it's just a little box of frustration... Don't you think?
