How to Verify Your Vietnam Visa Approval Online

Obtaining a Vietnam visa is a crucial step for foreign travelers planning to visit the country. Once you have submitted your visa application, it’s essential to check its status to ensure it has been approved. Here’s a simple guide on how to verify your Vietnam visa approval online:

Step 1: Gather Required Information

You will need the following information to check your visa status:

  • Date of birth
  • Application number (found on your visa application form or email confirmation)
  • Email address used in the application

Step 2: Visit the Vietnam Immigration Department Website

Go to the official website of the Vietnam Immigration Department: https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/

Step 3: Navigate to the Visa Status Verification Page

On the homepage, click on the “Visa Status” tab located in the top menu bar.

Step 4: Enter Your Information

On the Visa Status Verification page, enter the following details in the designated fields:

  • Date of birth (in “dd/mm/yyyy” format)
  • Application number
  • Email address

Step 5: Click “Check Status”

Once you have entered all the required information, click on the “Check Status” button.

Step 6: View Visa Status

The website will display the status of your visa application. There are three possible outcomes:

  • Approved: Your visa has been approved and is ready to be used.
  • Pending: Your application is still being processed.
  • Rejected: Your application has been rejected.

Step 7: Print or Save Your Visa

If your visa has been approved, you can print or save a copy of the e-visa for your records.

Note:

  • If your visa is approved, you must present the e-visa along with your passport when entering Vietnam.
  • If your visa is rejected, you will receive an email notification explaining the reason for rejection.
  • If your application is pending, you can check the status again at a later date.
  • If you encounter any difficulties in checking your visa status online, you can contact the Vietnam Embassy or Consulate in your country for assistance.
