How can I hide my phone number on Google account?

Okay, so you want to keep your phone number a little more private on your Google account, huh? I totally get that! It’s kinda creepy how much info is out there these days.

Here’s how I usually do it – and honestly, it’s pretty straightforward, though it can feel like Google hides these settings sometimes, doesn’t it? ????

Basically:

1. Head to your phone’s settings. You know, the little gear icon that leads to all the phone magic. Tap that, and then look for “Google.”

2. Dive into your Google Account. Once you find “Google” in your settings, tap it! You should see “Manage your Google Account” or something similar. That’s your target. Then go to “Personal info.” I always feel like I’m entering a super-secret agent HQ when I do this, haha!

3. “About Me” is the key! Under “Choose what others see,” there should be a section called “About me.” Click on that. This is where the magic happens.

4. Edit or Remove that Number! You should find your phone number listed there. Now you can either edit it, maybe make it visible to only you (which is what I usually do), or just remove it entirely. Just follow the instructions on the screen – it’s not rocket science, thankfully.
