How can you request a phone number?
How do you even get a phone number these days? Seriously, it's a whole ordeal! I swear, changing my number is like pulling teeth. Last time, I spent an hour on my phone company's website – it's a digital labyrinth, I tell ya! They make it so complicated, I'm convinced they want you to give up. Remember that time I ended up with 555-GET-LOST? Ugh. The sheer audacity! This time, I'm determined to get a number I actually like – something, I don't know, maybe a little less… depressing?
I've heard you can actually rent a specific number now? That sounds like a dream come true! No more randomly assigned numbers that sound like they belong to a telemarketer. I'm picturing myself calmly choosing a number, like picking out a new pair of shoes. Maybe something with a bunch of sevens? Seven is my lucky number, you know. Or maybe something that's easy to remember, because I’m awful with numbers. I'm so tired of explaining to people how to pronounce my current number. It's like a tongue twister designed by a sadist. If renting is really that easy, I’m all in! It better not be crazy expensive though! I need this to be less stressful than just dealing with the regular process... which, again, is like wading through mud.
