How to Send Apple Pay to Another Phone

Apple Pay is a convenient and secure way to send and receive money with friends and family. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to send Apple Pay to another phone:

1. Initiate a New or Existing Message Thread:

Open the Messages app on your iPhone or iPad. Start a new message with the person you want to send money to, or open an existing conversation.

2. Select Apple Cash:

Tap the Apple Cash icon in the message thread, located to the left of the text field.

3. Input the Desired Amount:

Enter the amount of money you want to send in the designated field. You can also choose to customize the amount by tapping the up or down arrows.

4. Tap Send:

Review the recipient’s details and double-check the amount you are sending. Once satisfied, tap the “Send” button.

Optional: Add a Note:

Before sending, you can optionally add a note to the transaction. This note will be visible in both your own and the recipient’s transaction history. To add a note, tap the “Add a Note” link and enter your desired text.

Additional Notes:

• Both you and the recipient must have an Apple Pay account and be using an Apple device.
