How to Delete Your Old ShopeePay Account

If you no longer need your ShopeePay account, you can permanently delete it. Here’s how:

1. Access Your Profile:

Open the Shopee app and log in to your account. Tap on the “Me” icon on the bottom right corner of the screen.

2. Go to Settings:

In your profile, tap on the “Settings” icon represented by a gear symbol.

3. Find the Account Deletion Option:

Scroll down the Settings page and look for the “Account Deletion Request” option.

4. Confirm Your Choice:

Tap on the “Account Deletion Request” button. You will be prompted to confirm your decision.

5. Delete Your Account:

Read the information on the confirmation screen carefully. Once you’re sure you want to delete your account, tap on the “Yes, Delete My Account” button.

Important Notes:

• Deleting your ShopeePay account is irreversible.
• All your ShopeePay balance, transactions, and associated data will be permanently deleted.
• You will not be able to access or recover your deleted account.

Alternative Option:

If you don’t wish to delete your account entirely, you can deactivate it instead. Deactivating your account will temporarily disable it, but your data will remain intact. You can reactivate your account if needed.
