How do I know if my meal is included in my ticket?

Ugh, how am I supposed to know if my meal’s included?! This ticket confirmation is a total nightmare, seriously. It’s like they want you to spend hours deciphering it. I’m practically cross-eyed trying to find the fare breakdown – remember that time I booked with “FlyAway Airlines” and it took me forever? This feels just as bad. I’m hunting for any mention of a meal, hoping, praying, it’s not one of those “hidden fees” things. Because if I didn’t pre-select a meal, and I have to pay extra… well, let’s just say I’ll be hangry, and nobody wants to sit next to a hangry me on a flight. They really ought to make things clearer; is that too much to ask? I mean, it’s basic information, right?
