How do I turn off my private number again? Ugh, seriously, it's like a hidden treasure hunt every time! I swear, I forget the steps every single time. It's so annoying. Last week, I was trying to call my mom about this amazing deal on cat food – she's obsessed, you know? – and she almost didn't answer because she thought it was spam. Talk about a stressful moment!

Okay, so on my Android – and this might be different on iPhones, so don't blame me if it is – I have to go to the Phone app. See, that's easy enough, right? Wrong. Then you gotta find those three little dots, the menu button. They're always so tiny! Then it's Settings, then Calls... I think there's even like, Additional settings or something? It's ridiculous, the number of steps involved! It's like they want you to keep your number hidden forever. Finally, finally, you get to Caller ID, and then, and only then, can you unhide your poor, lonely phone number. Sheesh! Why can't it just be a simple on/off toggle somewhere obvious? Maybe I'm just technologically challenged... or maybe phone manufacturers are secretly enjoying our frustration. ????
