How do I turn off live on my iPhone?
Ugh, Live Photos! Sometimes theyre cute, other times theyre just annoying blurry messes. To ditch the live action, I usually just edit the photo. See that little LIVE button at the top when youre editing? Tap that bad boy, and poof—no more moving picture. Its so simple, its almost frustrating how much I struggled with it at first!
Okay, so you wanna kill those Live Photos, huh? I get it. Sometimes they’re adorable, like when my dog does that little head tilt thing. But mostly? They’re just… blurry, shaky evidence of my awkwardness. Sigh.
So, turning them off, there are a couple of ways. If you mean completely turn them off so you’re not even accidentally taking them, there’s a little icon in the camera app itself, right up top. It looks like a target. You just tap that to disable Live Photos until you choose to turn them back on. Easy peasy! I mean, I always forget to do this before I take the picture! Ugh.
But, let’s say you’ve already got a Live Photo you regret. Been there! The easiest thing to do is to, yep, just edit the photo. Open it up, hit “Edit”, and look for the word “LIVE” at the top. Give that a tap. And BAM! No more movement. It’s just a regular ol’ still image. Honestly, it’s almost TOO simple, right? I mean, why did it take me so long to figure that out?
Seriously, for the longest time, I just accepted my fate of a million wobbly Live Photos. I’d scroll through my camera roll and be like, “Oh great, another one of me blinking!” Don’t make my mistakes. Learn from my blurry pain! Hopefully that helps!
