How do I turn off outbox delay?

Ugh, how do I get rid of this stupid outbox delay? Seriously, it's driving me nuts! You know that feeling? Like you've hit send, but your email is just...sitting there. Mocking you. I had this happen last week, trying to RSVP to my cousin's wedding. I swear I hit send like five times! Then I spent, like, ten minutes freaking out, thinking it got lost in cyberspace. Turns out, it was just chilling in the Outbox, waiting for its appointed time. Who needs that kind of suspense in their life?!

Finding the darn thing in the Outbox is half the battle, isn't it? Sometimes I'm convinced those email programs are designed to be confusing. And then, locating that "Delay Delivery" or "Do Not Deliver Before" option – what a scavenger hunt! It's buried in the settings somewhere, usually in some weirdly named sub-menu. I mean, why is it so hard?! But once you find it – and finally uncheck that box (or whatever it is your email program calls it – mine changes all the time!), that feeling… instant gratification. Like you've finally freed a captive bird. Pure bliss. So satisfying. It's a small victory, but oh-so-sweet.
