How long can it take for tracking to update?

Ugh, tracking updates, right? How long does it actually take? It's so frustrating waiting, isn't it? I remember once ordering a birthday present for my niece – a super cute unicorn plushie – and the tracking sat stubbornly at "Label Created" for a whole day. I was freaking out! Was it lost? Had the post office eaten it? My niece's birthday was looming!

They say it can take up to 24 hours, especially with USPS. That's what I usually hear, anyway. Makes sense, I guess, if they only scan things during regular business hours. If you drop it off at night, well, it's gonna sit there until the next morning, probably. That's what happened with that unicorn, I think. It was a Friday night drop-off, and Monday morning, finally, it showed some movement. Phew!

So yeah, be patient. Easier said than done, I know. Check back later. Maybe even later than later. It's agonizing, but usually it eventually updates. Unless... gulp... it's actually lost. But let's try to stay positive, shall we? Deep breaths. Think happy unicorn thoughts. It'll probably be fine. Probably.
