How long do you need to spend in Vietnam?
How many days should I spend in Vietnam for a good trip?
Ugh, Vietnam trip length? So tricky! I spent two weeks there last August, flying into Hanoi (cost a fortune, like $1200!). It felt rushed, honestly.
Saw Ha Long Bay (breathtaking!), but barely scratched the surface of the south. Needed more time.
For a really good trip? Think at least three weeks. Maybe even a month if you're serious about exploring. That's my gut feeling based on my own experience.
Definitely worth it though. The food alone... oh my god.
My friend did 10 days and regretted it massively. She said she felt super overwhelmed and didn't relax once.
So yeah, three weeks minimum for a truly immersive trip. But a month is even better.
Optimal Vietnam trip length: 3-4 weeks.
Is it worth going to Vietnam for a week?
Vietnam for a week? Hmmm. Is it worth it?
Okay, a week in Vietnam. Is that enough time, though? Always wanted to see Ha Long Bay. Or is that too cliché?
- Ha Long Bay: Cruise, kayaking. Touristy?
- Hanoi: Street food! Temple of Literature maybe.
Maybe better to pick one area. Central Vietnam perhaps?
- Hoi An: Tailors! Lanterns. Old Town.
- Da Nang: Beaches, Marble Mountains.
North to South in a week sounds exhausting. Ugh. Flights! Pick one area. That is the key.
Could just chill in Hoi An for a week. Get clothes made. Eat pho. Beach time!
Decisions, decisions! Central sounds pretty good. Flights to Da Nang. Then train to Hoi An. Yes.
How much money do you need for 5 days in Vietnam?
A 5-day jaunt in Vietnam, eh? Hmmm. Ballpark, you're looking at ₹20,000-₹27,000 based on those package deals alone. My sister went, talked about haggling in Hanoi!
- Accommodation: Hostels can be super cheap, hotels vary.
- Food: Street food is where it's AT. Inexpensive and SO good.
- Transport: Buses are clutch. Budget-friendly.
- Activities: Entrance fees add up! Consider free stuff.
Remember, that's flights excluded, and shopping sprees! It's all relative. I spent way more on silk scarves, honestly! And the coffee. Don't forget the coffee. Always factor in extra "souvenir" money, haha!
