How long should you spend on Phi Phi Island?

How long should you spend on Phi Phi Island? Gosh, that's a tough one! Three days/two nights? Yeah, I'd say that's the bare minimum, absolutely. Anything less and you'll be running around like a chicken with its head cut off, trust me. I was there for four days, and even then I felt like I could've easily stayed longer! Remember that time I tried to cram Maya Bay and the Viking Cave into one afternoon? Total disaster.

You need a full day, at least, for the boat trip. Seriously, the water is unbelievably gorgeous – that turquoise, you just can’t believe it until you see it. And the snorkeling?! I saw a parrotfish that was, like, the size of my head! It was incredible. Plus, hiking to the viewpoint... Oh my gosh, the view from up there? Just breathtaking. Worth every drop of sweat, I tell ya. I even saw a monkey stealing a banana from some tourists – hilarious!

Don't shortchange yourself. Don't be that person who rushes through paradise, snapping a few pics and then running off to the next thing. Seriously, soak it all in. I mean, when else are you going to be swimming in water that color? You'll regret it later, you know you will. You'll be sitting at your desk, staring at a blurry phone photo, thinking "I shoulda stayed longer." Don't be that person!
