How many days should I spend in Hoi An?
Hoi An: How many days are best for your visit & itinerary?
Hoi An is a charmer, right? I think 3-4 days is perfect to soak it all in.
Seriously. You don't wanna rush Hoi An!
I went in March 2018. Stayed at a little place near the Japanese Bridge, cost about $20 a night. Worth it, even if I did misspell "bridge" just then. Haha.
Three days gave me enough time to wander, eat all the cao lau, and get clothes made.
You know, tailors everywhere. Be prepared. Bartering is key! Got a silk dress made for, like, 40 bucks? Amazing.
But yeah, rushing? Nah. Hoi An deserves some slow travel. Four days lets you chill, maybe take a cooking class. Definite yes.
Is 3 days in a Da Nang enough?
Three days? A start. Not enough.
Da Nang demands more. Beaches? Markets? The Marble Mountains glower for attention. One day is not enough.
Bana Hills whisper. The Golden Bridge taunts. I went last year—the cable car? Intense. Two days vanish. Trust me.
Forget rushing. Slow down. Hoi An calls. It's close. Three days gone. You'll crave more time. Always.
Expansion:
- Beaches: My Khe, Non Nuoc. Sun worshippers flock. Beware midday sun, its unforgiving.
- Marble Mountains: Caves, temples. Ancient. Climb. But hydrate. I learned the hard way.
- Ba Na Hills: French Village. Crowded. Golden Bridge? Worth it, despite the tourists.
- Hoi An: Ancient Town. Lanterns glow. Tailors tempt. My wallet suffered. Regrets? None.
- Markets: Han Market. Souvenirs. Bargain hard. They expect it.
- Food: Seafood. Fresh. Cheap. My favourite? Banh mi.
Da Nang is a siren. It lures, it holds. Plan accordingly, or don't. Your choice.
