How many Visa gift cards can you use in one transaction?

Ugh, this Visa gift card thing is always a bit of a headache, isn't it? So, how many can you actually use at once? Like, if you're hitting the mall, right? I remember this one time, I had, like, four gift cards from my birthday – all Visa, thankfully. And I was totally stoked to finally buy those new boots I'd been eyeing. No problem using them all at once in the store, it was totally fine. They just swiped 'em one after another. Easy peasy!

But then, online? Oh boy, that's a different story. I tried to use two for that adorable cat sweater I found – you know, the one with the little sparkly bow tie? Nope. Website said, "One gift card per order, please." So frustrating! I had to do two separate orders. It was such a hassle! Probably would have saved me shipping if I just used one, too.

So yeah, the short answer is, it depends. In the store? Usually okay to use several. Online? Most places, probably just one. Seriously, always check the store's policy first. You don't want to end up stuck with a bunch of unused cards, or worse, a canceled order. Been there, done that, learned my lesson the hard way!
