How many WhatsApp messages is 1GB of data?

Okay, so how many WhatsApp messages actually fit into 1GB of data? I was totally shocked when I saw the answer – like, a million and a half messages! Seriously? A million and a half. I mean, I send a lot of messages, probably too many, especially to my sister Sarah. We have these epic GIF battles... you wouldn't believe some of them. But a million and a half? That's more messages than I think I've sent in my entire life, right?

I was thinking, wow, 1GB isn't that much data, is it? I mean, it wouldn't even get me through a decent Netflix movie, would it? Probably not even a whole episode of my favorite show, Stranger Things. So that puts things in perspective, doesn't it? All those silly GIFs and lengthy text chats I’m constantly sending – they're actually not a huge data hog, surprisingly. Although... maybe I should still think twice before starting another GIF war with Sarah, you know, just to be safe. My data plan is pretty stingy! I might still try to watch that movie later, though. Maybe just a really short one.
