How much XP does it take to get to level 100 in Payday 2?

Reaching the coveted level 100 milestone in Payday 2, the gateway to Infamy and its prestigious rewards, is a significant undertaking. It's a grind that demands dedication, strategic gameplay, and a whole lot of heists. But just how much experience is required to hit that magic number and bask in the glory of becoming Infamous?

The answer: a staggering over 23 million experience points.

The journey to level 100 isn't a linear climb. The initial levels are relatively quick to achieve. You'll only need 900 XP to reach level 2, a manageable feat for even a novice heister. However, the XP requirements escalate dramatically as you progress. Each subsequent level demands a progressively larger chunk of experience, turning the later stages into a true test of endurance.

While the early levels fly by, the climb from 90 to 100 feels like a different game entirely. This final stretch requires a monumental effort, with the last leap from 99 to 100 demanding a whopping 1 million XP. Imagine the sheer number of heists, successful escapes, and bonus objectives required to amass such a vast sum!

This exponential growth in XP requirements encourages players to constantly refine their skills and explore different approaches. Sticking to lower difficulty heists might suffice in the beginning, but reaching the upper echelons demands tackling challenging missions, mastering stealth tactics, or embracing loud and aggressive playstyles for higher XP payouts.

So, while 23 million XP might seem daunting, it's a testament to the depth and replayability of Payday 2. The journey to 100 isn't just about the destination; it's about the skills you hone, the strategies you develop, and the camaraderie forged with your crew along the way. Embrace the grind, experiment with different builds, and relish the satisfaction of finally hitting that coveted level 100, ready to embrace Infamy and start the climb all over again.
