How to change Apple ID postal address?

Ugh, changing your Apple ID address? I’ve been there, it’s a little confusing sometimes, isn’t it? I remember once, I was trying to update mine because I’d moved – I was so excited about my new apartment, all unpacked and stuff – and then I spent like, ten minutes wrestling with this. Anyway, here’s how I finally figured it out, hope it helps you avoid my frustration!

First, you gotta go to the Apple menu… which is, you know, that little apple thing in the top left corner of your screen. Then, System Settings. Sounds easy enough, right? It usually is, but sometimes my brain just completely freezes.

Next, click your name. It’s usually a profile picture, or just your name, in the sidebar – kinda like a mini-me on your computer. Then, find “Payment & Shipping.” This is where all the address magic happens.

Now, this is where things might get tricky. If you’re not already signed in, well, you’ll need to enter your Apple ID and password. Don’t forget your password! I have to look mine up ALL the time. Seriously, is there a password vault that actually works? Let me know if you find one!

Once you’re signed in, you should see your address. Time to edit! Just change whatever needs changing – street number, apartment number, city, state, zip code – the whole shebang. Make sure it’s perfectly accurate, otherwise you might miss out on important emails or – heaven forbid – a package!
