How to choose Grab pickup?

Okay, so picking a Grab pickup spot, right? It can be SO annoying. Like, sometimes I'm just standing there, phone in hand, thinking, "Where the heck am I supposed to go?" Usually, I'm lazy and just go with whatever the app suggests. Especially if I'm, like, downtown or somewhere crazy with a million different exits and one-way streets. The app is usually pretty smart about it, thankfully.

But, other times? Ugh. Like, if I know exactly where I want to be picked up – say, right outside that coffee shop with the amazing iced lattes – then I'll definitely search for the specific location. You know what I mean? Because seriously, who wants to trek across five lanes of traffic with luggage, just because the app decided to drop the pin on the opposite side of the street? I remember this one time in Bangkok… oh my gosh. The pickup point was technically "correct," but it was behind this huge construction site, completely inaccessible! I ended up wandering around for like, ten minutes, totally stressed, trying to find a way through. Never again. So yeah, sometimes it pays to be picky! Just sayin'.
