How to Obtain a Refund from Grab Wallet
For Grab Merchants
To initiate a refund for processed transactions, merchants using the GrabMerchant App or Portal can follow these steps:

Within the GrabMerchant App:
- Navigate to “Transactions”.
- Select the transaction for which you wish to issue a refund.
- Tap on “Refund”.
- Enter the refund amount and reason.
- Submit the refund request.

Within the GrabMerchant Portal:
- Log into the portal at merchant.grab.com.
- Select “Transactions”.
- Find the transaction you wish to refund.
- Click on the “Refund” button.
- Enter the refund amount and reason.
- Submit the refund request.
Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are not available for all payments made through GrabPay. Qualifying payments that may be eligible for refunds include:
- Payments made in error
- Payments for canceled or unfulfilled orders
- Payments for items that did not meet the customer’s expectations
Timeline and Process
Upon submitting a refund request, the status of the transaction will change to “Refund Processed”. The funds will be returned to the customer’s GrabPay wallet within 7 to 14 business days.
Note:
- Refunds can only be processed for transactions that have been processed successfully.
- Refunds are not available for transactions that have been voided or already refunded.
- Grab reserves the right to decline refund requests if they do not meet the eligibility criteria.
