How to know if a FedEx package has lost?

How to Ascertain FedEx Package Misplacement

Verifying FedEx package delivery can sometimes be challenging, especially when there are concerns about its whereabouts. Here are key steps to determine if a FedEx package has been lost:

1. Tracking Status Verification:

• Visit the FedEx tracking page and enter your tracking or reference number.
• Review the delivery status. A "delivered" status typically indicates successful delivery.

2. Photo Evidence:

• In some cases, FedEx provides photo evidence of delivery. Check the tracking details for an image that shows the package at its designated delivery location.

3. Reporting a Missing Package:

• If the tracking status does not indicate delivery and you believe the package is missing, report it immediately.
• Use the same tracking or reference number and visit the FedEx tracking page.
• Select the "Report Missing Package" option and provide the necessary details.

Importance of Prompt Reporting:

Reporting a missing package promptly is crucial for several reasons:

• It allows FedEx to initiate an investigation and research the package's whereabouts.
• Filing a report within a timely manner increases the likelihood of resolving the issue quickly.
• Delays in reporting may result in additional complications and could compromise the chances of locating the package.
