How to make sure you are not using VPN?

Ugh, VPNs. So tricky sometimes, aren't they? How do you really know if you're actually not using one? It's not always obvious, you know? I mean, I once spent a whole afternoon trying to figure out why my internet was so slow, only to discover I'd accidentally left my work VPN on – talk about a productivity killer!

Anyway, to check on your Android phone, you gotta dig around in the settings. It's usually under Settings, then Network & Internet, or maybe it's called Connections – it depends on your phone, which is SO annoying. Then, you'll probably see something like "More connection settings," or something similar. Look for "VPN" – it might be tucked away somewhere. You should find a list of any VPN profiles you've connected to. Find yours, and you'll see a way to disconnect or uninstall it. It's usually a little gear icon, or maybe just an obvious "Disconnect" button. Sometimes, it's just so buried, you know? I remember struggling with my old Samsung for ages – I felt like I was hunting for buried treasure!

So yeah, that’s how you check. But honestly, even after all that, sometimes I still wonder – am I really sure it's off? Maybe I missed something? It's a bit paranoid, I guess, but you never know with these things, right?
