How to Plan a Week in Vietnam?
Okay, so, Vietnam in a week? Crazy, right? I did it last October, booked everything myself – cost around $800 excluding flights.
Hanoi? Landed, ate pho till I exploded. Seriously, the street food – amazing. Night market chaos was fun, but intense.
Ha Long Bay next day. Breathtaking. The boat trip? Worth every dong. Kayaking in those little coves... pure magic. I remember specific little fishing villages - can’t quite recall their names now!
Phong Nha was a whirlwind – those caves! Massive, echoing, spooky even. Ziplining, seriously considering that again. My heart was pounding!
Tan Hoa… relaxed after that. Rural escape? Yep. Just rice paddies and quiet. Needed that after the craziness.
Basically, packed, exhausting, incredible. North to South in a week is ambitious, but totally doable. Best to book tours ahead, especially Ha Long Bay.
