Da Nang in 2 Days: Enough Time to See Everything?
Da Nang in two days? You can definitely hit the highlights. Saw the Dragon Bridge breathe fire on a Saturday night once (July ’22). Pretty spectacular.
Two days is enough for a quick trip to Da Nang. Focus on key attractions and food.
Had some amazing banh xeo at a tiny place near My Khe beach. Think it was only like 15,000 VND. Dirt cheap, seriously good. This was back in March ’23.

One time, I stumbled upon this market near the Han River, can’t remember the name, but the fruit was incredible. So fresh.
You can squeeze in quite a lot in 48 hours. Prioritize what interests you most. Beaches? Marble Mountains? Food tour?
What is there to do in Da Nang solo?
Ugh, Da Nang solo trip? My Khe Beach is overrated, too crowded. Seriously, the sand is nice, I guess, but the vibe…blah. Need something more. Marble Mountains are cool though. Climbed those last year. Amazing views. Really good workout too. Sweaty mess afterwards, but worth it.
Ba Na Hills. Golden Bridge is a total tourist trap. Photos are okay, but the whole thing feels manufactured. Expensive too. Should’ve just skipped it. But the views from up there…breathtaking, honestly. Should have gone earlier. It’s just…so much. Overwhelming at times.
Food. Da Nang’s food scene is amazing. Seriously. I ate the best Banh Mi of my LIFE. Small hole-in-the-wall place, near the market. No English menu, but I pointed and it was phenomenal. Remember that? Best part of my trip.
Dragon Bridge. Fire show. Meh. Not that impressive, actually. Lots of people though. Saw it Friday night. Too touristy, didn’t stay long.
So…what to do? Marble Mountains are a must. Find that Banh Mi place. Explore the old town, maybe? The beach is fine for a few hours. Definitely avoid the peak season.

- Avoid Ba Na Hills unless views are your absolute priority

2024 Update: The Dragon Bridge show is still happening on weekends, usually at 9 PM. Check the exact schedule, though. Everything else remains the same. Still love that Banh Mi.
How to spend one day in Da Nang?
Hit the Con market first thing. Grab some banh mi. Seriously, the best. My friend Linh swears by the one with extra chili. Then, that pink church, the Da Nang Cathedral! Insta-worthy for sure. Totally worth it. Went there last May, crazy hot. Han Market next. Bargain hard, they expect it. Got a sweet deal on a silk scarf. My mom loved it. Then, check out APEC park. Right by the water, good for pics. Museum… if you have time, kinda boring tbh. We skipped it. Spent the afternoon at My Khe beach instead. Perfect.
- Con Market: Go early for the best food.
- Da Nang Cathedral: Pink and pretty. Good for a quick stop.
- Han Market: Haggle! Seriously, don’t pay full price.
- APEC Park: Nice views. Chill by the water.
- Da Nang Museum: Maybe skip it. Beach is better.
- My Khe Beach: Awesome. Great waves. Rent a chair and just relax.
- Dragon Bridge: Check it out at night. They breath fire, I think on weekends!
Went back last month, found this cool little coffee shop near the Dragon Bridge. Hidden gem. Iced coffee was like a dollar. Dragon Bridge is way cooler at night. Should check the schedule tho for the fire show thing. My Khe beach is way better than China Beach, just saying. Too many rocks there. So yeah, that’s Da Nang in a day!
