Is 2 days enough for Hanoi?
48 Hours in Hanoi: Enough Time?
Okay, Hanoi in 48 hours? Can you really do it? Yep, I think so. 2 days is totally enough time to get a decent first impression.
I hit Hanoi for a quickie once, just 2 days actually (think it was July 2018 maybe?), and I managed to see some highlights. I mean, of course, I wish I had more time, but I did key things.
Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter (chaotic but cool!), and a museum are all doable. We saw the Temple of Literature (really beautiful!).
Honestly, if you wanna scratch beneath the surface of Hanoi and really get the vibe, you might want to extend it.
I'd say 3 or 4 days would be sweeter. Then you can do day trips (Ha Long Bay is popular, but maybe something different?).
Also, a slower pace is always better.
The city's amazing, has it's cultural roots deep. Two days is enough, but more time never hurt nobody.
