Is it better to have a wireless or wired connection?
Okay, so, wired versus wireless? Ugh, it's such a personal thing, isn't it? But if you ask me, wired wins, hands down. I mean, seriously, who wants their neighbor streaming movies on your Wi-Fi? I'm pretty sure that happened to me once – my internet was SO slow and I couldn't figure it out. Turns out, little Timmy next door was having a marathon gaming session. Not cool, Timmy. Not cool.
Anyway, after that, I pretty much hardwired everything I could. My desktop, my gaming console – the whole shebang. The peace of mind? Priceless. Plus, the speed! Oh my goodness, the speed. Remember those days of laggy online gaming? Shudders. Like, I remember raiding in World of Warcraft, and right as we were about to take down the boss – BAM! – disconnected. Infuriating! Wired pretty much eliminates that. Okay, mostly eliminates it. Let's be real, sometimes the internet just decides to be a jerk. But still, way less frustrating overall.
Wireless is great, don't get me wrong. I love lounging on the couch with my iPad, scrolling through…well, everything. But for serious stuff, like, you know, actual work or intense gaming where every millisecond counts? Wired is the only way to go. It just feels…more solid. More reliable. Like a good, strong hug from the internet gods. Or something. You get what I mean, right?
