Is it better to travel when the dollar is strong?

Heck yeah, traveling when the dollar is strong is awesome! It feels so good to get more bang for your buck in another country. I remember being in Europe last year when the exchange rate was amazing, and it felt like I was living the high life. Everything was cheaper, so I could splurge on experiences without guilt. Definitely seize the day if the dollar is strong - you wont regret it!

Is it better to travel when the dollar is strong? Duh! Isn’t it obvious? I mean, who doesn’t want their money to stretch further? It’s like magic, seriously!

I remember this one time, I was in Japan – I think it was 2019? – and the dollar was doing SO well against the yen. It was insane! Suddenly, those amazing bowls of ramen that usually cost, like, I don’t know, maybe $12 were suddenly closer to $8! And those cute little shops with all the quirky Japanese souvenirs? Everything felt so much more affordable. I even splurged on a traditional tea ceremony – something I probably wouldn’t have done otherwise. It felt like I had won the lottery or something, haha!

It really does make a difference. Think about it – when your dollar is stronger, you can stay in nicer hotels, eat at fancier restaurants, maybe even tack on an extra day or two to your trip. Or, you know, just buy all the souvenirs. Why not, right? You’re basically getting a discount on everything! I’ve definitely noticed I’m way more relaxed and less stressed about money when I travel when the dollar is stronger. So yeah, if you’ve got the travel bug and the dollar is looking good, just book the trip already! Seriously, what are you waiting for? You won’t regret it. Trust me.
