Is it okay to be at the airport 2 hours before flight?
Is 2 hours before flight enough airport time?
Two hours? Hmm, airlines say that, right?
Like, officially, "Be here 2 hours before take-off." Okay. But my experience at, say, Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, July 2022, almost made me miss my flight even with the suggested time. Security lines? Insane.
I was sweating bullets trying to find my gate. A literal sprint. And I paid, like, €30 for a fast pass thingie (totally worth it after that day!). So... the 2 hours ain't a gurantee, that's for sure.
Basically, two hours might be enough, or maybe not. It's a gamble, a travel lottery. Depends on stuff.
Airport arrival time: Airlines generally advise arriving 2 hours prior to domestic flights.
