Is it okay to be at the front of a cruise ship?

Okay, so, being at the front of a cruise ship? Is it okay? Technically, yes, it's there, so I guess someone has to be up there! But me? No way, no how. I talked to these seasoned cruisers once – you know, the kind who’ve practically lived at sea? – and they painted this horrifying picture of the rocking and rolling up front. Like, imagine trying to sip a daiquiri while feeling like you're on a runaway rocking horse. No thanks! Seriously, if you even think you might get a little queasy, the front of the ship is basically a one-way ticket to Seasickness City. I learned that the hard way on a ferry once – never again! Ugh, that memory still makes me shudder. I'm all about that smooth sailing life. Give me a cabin somewhere in the middle, closer to the ship's center of gravity or whatever. Stability is key, people! Isn't a peaceful, nausea-free cruise the whole point? I mean, who wants to spend their vacation hanging over the railing? I’d rather be enjoying the buffet, thank you very much.
