Is Vietnam worth visiting for a week?
Is Vietnam worth visiting? One week travel itinerary?
Okay, is Vietnam worth visiting? Like, seriously? YES. A thousand times yes. But lemme tell ya why I think so.
Vietnam is a beautiful, affordable and extremely interesting country.
I mean, seriously, where else can you get a killer bowl of pho for like, two bucks? I remember being in Hanoi, (August '22) slurping noodles on a tiny plastic chair, and thinking, "This is it."
It's steeped in history, from ancient temples to the recent war, it's a culture clash in the best way possible.
So, a week in Vietnam? Hmm. Tough choice, it's a BIG country!
Okay, here's my crazy, spontaneous, but probably awesome itinerary:
Day 1-2: Hanoi. Explore the Old Quarter, try egg coffee, and see a water puppet show.
Day 3: Ha Long Bay. Cruise this iconic bay (maybe a day trip or an overnight junk boat stay).
Day 4: Fly to Da Nang. It's cheap and fast to fly.
Day 5: Hoi An. Tailors, ancient town beauty, and delicious street food.
Day 6: Beach Time! Relax on An Bang beach.
Day 7: Fly back home from Da Nang. Or extend your trip (you'll want to).
Totally personalized and amazing right. It's a little fast-paced, I knoe, but it gives you a taste of everything. Maybe even tempt you to come back to visit places in depth! Trust me, Vietnam is a total trip, in the best way. Just go with the flow and prepare to be amazed by the people, the food, and the incredible landscapes. You wont regret it even with a slight mispell!
