Is your router password the same as your Wi-Fi password?

Is your router password the same as your Wi-Fi password? Seriously? I hope not! Mine are totally different. I mean, my router password is, like, Fort Knox – seriously complex and super secret. It’s a crazy long string of numbers and symbols, I barely remember it myself, I have to look it up sometimes. Haha, don’t judge. My Wi-Fi password? That’s a whole different story. I share that one grudgingly with guests, after making sure they aren’t, you know, nefarious types – I even make them sign a non-disclosure agreement (just kidding… mostly!).

I’m a bit of a security nut, okay? Maybe it’s because I once had a friend whose router got hacked – total nightmare – and they ended up with all sorts of weird pop-ups and slow internet for weeks. That experience really shook me up. Keeping my router and Wi-Fi passwords separate? That’s my little piece of digital peace of mind. It just feels so much safer, you know? It’s like having two different locks on your front door. One is for everyday use and the other is super secure for when you’re really worried about security. Why risk having them the same?
