Kan man få post på lørdag?

Can you get mail on Saturdays? That's a good question, one I've actually wondered myself! I mean, I hate waiting for packages, you know? It's like, finally, it's shipped, and then...the weekend looms. Ugh.

So, no, at least not with PostNord, they don't deliver mail on Saturdays. That much I've learned the hard way, waiting and waiting. Remember that time I ordered those new boots? Saturday delivery, the website said! Lies! Total lies! They arrived Monday, all scuffed up from sitting in the depot all weekend. Seriously, it was infuriating.

But, there's a silver lining! You can usually pick up parcels at those PostNord drop-off/pick-up places on Saturdays, a lot of them anyway. I've done that a couple times. It's not ideal, but better than waiting until Monday, right? It depends, of course, on where the place is and how far you gotta trek. Once I had to walk for what felt like a mile in the rain...never again! Unless it's something really important, of course.

So, yeah, parcel delivery is pretty much every day except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Seems kinda weird, doesn't it? Like, why not Saturdays? More people are home then, potentially. Anyway, that's the PostNord way, I guess. Learn from my mistakes, people! Check your tracking, be prepared for delays, and maybe don't order anything super time-sensitive for the weekend. Unless you are prepared to pick it up yourself.
