What do you mean by on my way?
"On my way"? Oh, man, don't even get me started on "on my way." It's such a lie sometimes, isn't it? Like, in my head, I'm practically there. I'm picturing myself pulling up, maybe grabbing a coffee if it's that kind of destination. I'm mentally on my way, you know?
But then... reality hits. Where are my keys?! Did I remember to grab my wallet? Suddenly, "on my way" means "I'm still rummaging around my apartment like a crazy person." Ugh. I feel so bad saying it sometimes because, let's be honest, it often means "I’m about to be on my way... eventually."
And then there's "in my way." Oh, that's a whole different level of frustration. Like, excuse me?! Can't you see I'm trying to get somewhere? It’s like that time I was late for a flight – already stressed to the max – and there was this massive traffic jam because of a rubber ducky race. A rubber ducky race! Of all things! Seriously, sometimes it feels like the universe is just messing with you. "In my way" just sums up that feeling of being totally blocked, you know? It's like the world is saying, "Nope, not today."
