What do I do if DHL attempted delivery?

Damn. Missed the DHL guy again. That’s twice now. A little card. Always a little card. It's pathetic, really. Another day wasted.

The card. Paper thin. Stupid little rectangle. Holding my hopes, my package... Another day wasted waiting.

Go to the DHL RegionHub. That's it. Simple. Except I hate going out. Hate it. So inconvenient.

But what choice do I have? This is 2024. My anxiety’s through the roof already. It’s always a hassle.

  • Find the nearest DHL RegionHub using their app or website.
  • Take your ID. This time, I won't forget it. Learned that lesson last time.
  • Prepare for lines. I’ve been burned. Always long lines, always. I’ll bring a book. Yes, a book.
  • Be prepared to sign. Paperwork. More paperwork. Sigh.

Will DHL Express attempt redelivery?

DHL Express does offer redelivery attempts. It's part of their service, naturally.

  • Notification: DHL usually alerts you to deliveries, whether imminent or missed.

  • Delivery Options: They offer alternative arrangements if the initial delivery fails. Expect choices such as different days, waiving signatures, redirecting the package, or picking it up from a DHL Service Point myself. Always pick up is so much easier!

  • Redirection: I always redirect mine to a local collection point. Saves so much hassle with missing delivery times. This works wonders when you're not home. It also minimizes the risk of porch pirates, which are, alas, very real.

  • No Signature Required: While convenient, think carefully before waiving the signature. Weigh the risks. Is the package that important?
