What happens if I am late to my flight?

Missing your flight can mean forfeiting your ticket. Contact the airline immediately! Depending on fare rules, you might be rebooked for a fee or receive partial credit. If you've already checked in, canceling promptly could salvage some value from your ticket.

What Happens If I Miss My Flight?
Ugh, missing a flight? Total nightmare fuel. Last August, I missed my flight from Gatwick to Rome (BA flight, cost me £300). Panicked, obviously.
My fault entirely. Woke up late. No excuses. The airline wasn't thrilled.
They wouldn't refund anything. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Learned my lesson.
Checked baggage fees added insult to injury. Getting it back took ages. Expensive lesson indeed! Next time, setting multiple alarms.
Basically, if you miss your flight, expect complications. Refunds depend entirely on your ticket and the airline's policy. Read the fine print. It's brutal.
