Ugh, left my charger at the Grand Hyatt in Denver last July. Totally forgot it till I got home.

Hotels usually keep lost stuff in a lost and found. They'll note where and when it was found.

Called them up, they had it. Got it back. Such a relief, that charger cost me like 25 bucks.

• Describe the item clearly. Brand, color, any distinguishing marks. Like… the cat sticker.

• Provide contact information. Email is best.
