What happens when a bus driver slams on the brakes? Oh my gosh, I've totally been there! Remember that time I was heading home from my aunt's – that awful, bumpy bus ride? Anyway, we were going along, pretty normally, then bam! The brakes! It felt like my insides were doing a forward summersault. Seriously, I nearly ended up in the lap of the guy with the overflowing backpack!

It's this crazy thing, right? One minute you're cruising along, the next you're feeling like you're about to become a human projectile. It's all that inertia stuff they teach you in school – or at least, try to teach you. I always zoned out during physics, honestly. But you know, this I remember.
